Pilot, Black Suit, Helmet

Ah, the thrill of finding a fresh, high-speed racer to add to the hangar! This Black Suit Pilot is an absolute visual treat for anyone who appreciates vibrant color accents against a sleek, dark aesthetic. The dark bluish-gray racing suit paired with striking coral trim and those electric dark turquoise lightning bolts gives this figure an energetic, modern motorsport vibe that really pops on the shelf. Combined with the detailed freckled face featuring a cheeky smirk and winking left eye, it's a character packed with personality right out of the box.

For collectors eyeing future value, condition is going to be everything with a design like this. The dark bluish-gray torso and black helmet are notorious for showing minor scuffs or dust, so pristine prints on the coral and turquoise accents will command a premium. Because this pilot comes equipped with a trans-clear visor and a standard black helmet, keeping all five component parts together—especially the easily misplaced visor—will be the key to maintaining a complete, display-ready specimen for your collection.

As a brand-new release tied to a debut 2026 set, this pilot currently sits in an interesting sweet spot of availability. Having only appeared in a single set—the high-octane Jet vs. Car—it is by no means overproduced yet, but its immediate scarcity in the aftermarket makes it an intriguing target for early adopters. While it isn't locked behind a massive, ultra-expensive collector edition, the single-set exclusivity means you have to acquire that specific box to get the figure legitimately.

Market data tracking for newly minted City sub-theme figures usually shows a steady supply early on, but once the shelf life of the corresponding set winds down, single-set exclusives tend to quietly appreciate. If the Jet vs. Car set proves to be a sleeper hit among younger builders and adult fans alike, this pilot could transition from an easy-to-find contemporary fig to a sought-after rarity in no time.

When looking at the investment potential of a standard City-themed pilot, we have to temper our expectations compared to licensed heavyweights like Star Wars or Marvel. However, visually distinct racers with unique color combinations—like the coral and dark turquoise lightning bolts on this suit—often punch above their weight class among custom display builders and dio-creators. Because the current value is not yet tracked, early market entry points are tied directly to the retail price of its debut set.

Given that it is confined to just one set, this figure earns a solid baseline for steady demand once retirement approaches. It may not skyrocket into the stratosphere like a convention exclusive, but it represents a healthy, low-risk pickup for collectors who enjoy hunting down single-set variants before they disappear from store shelves for good.
