Benton, Master of Earth

Benton, Master of Earth is an absolute must-have for dedicated fans and seasoned collectors, bridging classic fantasy design with modern detailing. Featuring a striking flat silver torso adorned with dark bluish grey scales, a detailed gold buckle, and a specialized symbol on the back, this figure immediately catches the eye. The inclusion of a pearl gold castle helmet with angled cheek protection elevates the aesthetic, giving off a legendary warrior vibe that stands out in any display.

Condition is everything with a figure this intricate, especially given the heavy printing on both the torso and the legs. Collectors will want to pay close attention to the flat silver and dark bluish grey armor prints on the legs, as well as the dual-expression yellow head featuring thick reddish brown sideburns and a beard. Because this figure represents a significant milestone release tied to a special anniversary wave, keeping the pearl gold helmet scratch-free and the torso prints pristine will be crucial for maintaining its long-term desirability in the secondary market.

Rarity-wise, Benton, Master of Earth is positioned extremely well for future appreciation due to its highly exclusive distribution. Currently, this minifigure appears in only one single set: the Four Weapons Blacksmith 15th Anniversary release (71858-1). Being tied to an anniversary set inherently limits its overall production run compared to standard wave figures that appear across multiple box sets.

As a 2026 release, market data indicates that anniversary-exclusive characters often become major chase items once their parent sets retire. Because you cannot pick this up in any cheaper, smaller starter sets, army builders and completionists will have no choice but to source it directly from the primary set or through individual aftermarket part-outs, driving up its individual scarcity.

When looking at investment potential, Benton, Master of Earth scores very high thanks to its unique status as an anniversary-exclusive figure packaged in a premium $99.99 set. Figures locked behind higher-priced commemorative sets historically show strong resilience and steady value growth once the set exits store shelves, as casual buyers often skip the larger box in favor of buying the exclusive minifigures separately later on.

Based on current market data trends for similar commemorative anniversary releases, demand from completionist collectors will keep liquidity high. If you are holding onto extra copies or keeping an eye on long-term portfolio growth, this is the exact type of low-distribution, high-detail character that tends to outperform standard wave figures over a three-to-five-year horizon.
