Sanji, Black Suit

Ah, the Straw Hat Pirates' brilliant cook! Sanji in his sharp black suit is an absolute must-have for any anime fan or LEGO enthusiast building out their crew. What makes this figure stand out is the meticulous attention to detail in bringing a beloved character into official plastic form, complete with his signature wavy parted blond hair and iconic dark tan eyebrows. Collectors will definitely want to keep an eye out for how well the dual-expression head—featuring that classic suave smirk and a fiery mean grin—holds up to wear and tear, as facial print quality is a major point of inspection for secondary market purists.

As part of the massive wave of excitement surrounding LEGO's adaptation of the legendary pirate saga, characters sporting their formal or signature attire always command attention on the display shelf. The four-part assembly utilizes a sleek black torso and legs to capture his dapper aesthetic perfectly. Because this specific version captures him ready for action while looking impeccably dressed, condition matters immensely. Collectors should inspect the light nougat hands and bright light yellow hairpiece for micro-scratches or discoloration when sourcing from the aftermarket.

Right now, this particular variant of Sanji is tied directly to a major flagship release, making it somewhat accessible for active builders but destined for scarcity once the set eventually retires. Since it currently appears in just a single set—the iconic Going Merry Pirate Ship—its immediate distribution is limited to the production run of that specific box. Figures tied to major licensed franchises often experience a sharp uptick in aftermarket demand the moment their home sets leave store shelves.

While not impossibly rare today, the concentration of the character within a single high-ticket retail box means that loose figures will likely command a steady premium as time goes on and inventory dwindles.
