Soldier (Imperial Soldier) - Yellow Epaulettes, 3626b

The Imperial Soldier with Yellow Epaulettes is a classic LEGO minifigure that evokes nostalgia for vintage LEGO Pirates sets. Its simple design, featuring the iconic smiling face and detailed torso print, makes it a desirable addition to any LEGO Pirates collection. The yellow epaulettes are a distinctive feature, setting it apart from other Imperial Soldiers and adding to its visual appeal.

Collectors often seek out minifigures in excellent condition, with minimal wear to the printing and accessories. The tricorn hat and epaulettes are particularly prone to damage, so well-preserved examples command a premium. Completeness is also a key factor; having all original accessories enhances the minifigure's value.

This Imperial Soldier is considered relatively rare due to its limited availability in a single set, the Pirate Mini Figures (6251-1), released in 1989. While not a regional exclusive, the age of the set and the limited production run contribute to its scarcity on the aftermarket. Finding this minifigure in good condition can be challenging, further increasing its desirability among collectors.
