Ernie Macmillan

Ernie Macmillan represents a significant milestone for LEGO Harry Potter collectors looking to complete the ranks of Dumbledore's Army and prominent Hogwarts students. Despite being an established character across the books and films—serving as a proud Hufflepuff prefect and standing firm during the Battle of Hogwarts—Ernie has rarely received official minifigure representation, making this release an instant priority for franchise completionists.

This minifigure features short black legs and detailed Hufflepuff robes with a yellow collar accent and crest print, paired with tousled dark tan hair. Because this minifigure is locked behind a high-priced flagship set, Hogwarts Castle: The Main Tower (76454), obtaining him directly requires a substantial investment, driving demand for the individual figure on the secondary market.

For Wizarding World enthusiasts building out full house rosters or staging detailed Great Hall and classroom dioramas, Ernie is an essential addition alongside other named Hufflepuffs like Hannah Abbott, Susan Bones, and Justin Finch-Fletchley.

High-ticket sets naturally limit the circulating volume of individual student figures on the aftermarket, as fewer collectors part out flagship modular castle sets.

Unless LEGO decides to include Ernie in a cheaper classroom or battle pack in future waves, this figure will remain an exclusive and relatively scarce acquisition for secondary market shoppers.
