Snake Costume, Red Torso, Dark Red Legs

The Snake Costume minifigure is a delightful addition to the LEGO costume series, appealing to collectors who enjoy the whimsical and creative side of LEGO. Its vibrant colors and unique snake head mold make it instantly eye-catching. The detailed printing on the torso, featuring a Tang jacket with gold accents and a snake motif, adds to its charm and collectibility.

As part of the Chinese New Year subtheme, this minifigure taps into a broader cultural interest, making it particularly attractive to collectors interested in themed LEGO sets and minifigures. The combination of the costume element with the cultural significance makes this figure a desirable piece for display and collecting.

This minifigure appears in only one set, the Trotting Lantern (80116-1), released in 2024. While not a limited edition, its exclusivity to a single set does contribute to its potential rarity over time, especially as the set retires. The Trotting Lantern set itself is a larger, more expensive set, which may limit the initial availability of this minifigure compared to those found in smaller, more accessible sets. Aftermarket availability will be a key factor in determining its long-term rarity.
