Goomba, Half Closed Eyes, Jumper Top

The Goomba minifigure is highly desirable for LEGO Super Mario fans and collectors. Its unique construction, utilizing specialized printed tiles and jumper plates to achieve the Goomba's distinctive shape, sets it apart from standard minifigure designs. The half-closed eyes variant adds a touch of character, making it a sought-after piece for completing Super Mario minifigure collections.

As a key enemy in the Super Mario franchise, Goombas hold a nostalgic appeal for gamers. Owning a LEGO Goomba allows fans to bring a piece of the video game world into their LEGO displays. The minifigure's relative scarcity, due to its limited set appearances, further enhances its appeal to collectors looking for less common LEGO elements.

This Goomba variant is considered relatively scarce because it only appears in a limited number of LEGO Super Mario sets. These sets are often tied to specific waves or promotional periods, which limits the overall production run of the minifigure. While not a strictly limited edition, its availability is significantly lower compared to more common minifigures that appear in multiple widely available sets. Aftermarket prices reflect this relative scarcity, with this Goomba often commanding a premium compared to more generic LEGO elements.
