Triceratops Costume Fan

The Triceratops Costume Fan from the Collectible Minifigures Series 25 is an absolute must-have for anyone building out the beloved and ever-growing animal costume parade. Featuring a brilliant olive green color scheme accented by reddish-brown markings and tan toes, this figure captures the prehistoric aesthetic with a whimsical LEGO twist. The custom-molded triceratops headpiece complete with tan horns is a standout piece that immediately draws the eye in any display.

Collectors prize these costume figures for their incredible attention to detail and high playfulness factor. The double-sided head print gives you a choice between a cheeky smirk and a nervous smile, adding personality to the figure. Because Series 25 blind boxes require tactile identification or luck to complete, finding specific costume fans like this can be a fun hunt for local collectors.

When acquiring this figure for your collection, pay close attention to the condition of the printed olive green elements and the tail piece. The printed knee details and torso striping add a lot of visual depth, so keeping them scratch-free is essential for mint-condition collectors. It is a whimsical centerpiece that brings humor and charm to any modern LEGO setup.

As part of a dedicated Collectible Minifigures series, the Triceratops Costume Fan had a strictly limited production run during 2024 before the series retired to make way for subsequent waves. Being tied to a single blind-box series means its availability is inherently restricted compared to standard theme minifigures, making it a target for completionists.

Market data shows that individual character demand remains steady as fans try to complete their complete lineups of animal suit enthusiasts. Because Series 25 was widely distributed, it isn't impossibly rare, but finding it outside of secondary market channels has become increasingly difficult now that retail shelves have moved on to newer series.

The Collectible Minifigures animal costume sub-theme has a phenomenal track record for long-term value retention and growth. From the classic Dinosaur Suit Guy to the T-Rex and Triceratops variations, dinosaur-themed costumes in particular capture the imagination of both kids and adult collectors, driving strong aftermarket demand.

Market data suggests that complete series and popular costume variants appreciate steadily once they exit retail channels. Given that the Triceratops Costume Fan is currently tracking as a fresh addition with emerging value, it earns a solid B+ investment grade. It represents a low-risk, high-charm addition to any portfolio focusing on specialized minifigures.
