Dahlia

Dahlia (fig-014380) is a Disney minidoll based on Asha's quick-witted best friend and premier palace baker from Disney's 2023 animated film Wish. What makes Dahlia particularly appealing to Disney completists is her detailed character design, featuring a specialized face print with dark tan cat-eye style glasses and an intricate floral-patterned apron over a dark red skirt.

As an exclusive minidoll locked inside the largest and most expensive set from the Wish product wave—King Magnifico's Castle (43224)—Dahlia wasn't widely circulated through smaller entry-level boxes. Minidolls representing supporting cast members rarely receive multiple releases, making this single iteration the definitive version of the character.

For collectors, maintaining pristine print condition on the detailed full skirt piece and the printed eyewear on the head element is paramount, as replacement parts for one-off minidolls can be challenging to source individually on secondary marketplaces.

Dahlia is a highly localized exclusive, appearing in only one LEGO set: King Magnifico's Castle (43224-1), which retailed at $99.99 in late 2023 before retiring after a relatively brief production run. Because she was not included in any of the lower-priced Wish sets, her total circulation is significantly lower than main characters like Asha.

With no polybags, blister packs, or recurring appearances in subsequent waves, Dahlia has a limited circulating supply on the aftermarket, making her a low-supply figure among Disney minidoll collectors.

While Disney's Wish saw a mixed reception at the box office, LEGO Disney minidolls often display steady long-term appreciation when a supporting character is locked behind an expensive, retired flagship set. Collectors aiming for complete Disney castle lineups or character rosters inevitably need Dahlia to finish their Rosas display.

Given that the source set is now retired and Disney is unlikely to commission further merchandise waves for the property, Dahlia's scarcity is fixed. She serves as a solid hold for Disney niche collectors, with modest appreciation expected over time.
