Nightmare King

The Nightmare King is a standout minifigure due to his unique and menacing design. Collectors will appreciate the intricate details, such as the yellow eye on his chest, the dark bluish gray bandages on his head, and the claw toes print. The combination of white, black, and magenta markings creates a visually striking character that is sure to be a centerpiece in any LEGO minifigure collection.

The Nightmare King's appearance in sets from the DREAMZzz theme further enhances his collectibility. The DREAMZzz theme has captured the imaginations of LEGO fans with its imaginative creatures and dreamlike scenarios. As a key character in this theme, the Nightmare King holds significant appeal for those invested in the DREAMZzz universe. His unique molded parts, like the cape with tears and wings, make him a must-have for minifigure enthusiasts.

The Nightmare King appears in three sets, including the 'Nightmare King' polybag (552401-1). While this polybag might increase his overall availability, his presence in the retired 'Pegasus Flying Horse' and 'Nightmare Shark Ship' sets suggests that he will become harder to find over time, particularly as these sets become less available on the primary market. The polybag availability might make him initially more common, but the retired sets will eventually drive up his rarity.
