Dani Dennison

Dani Dennison is a standout minifigure from the 2023 LEGO Ideas set Hocus Pocus: The Sanderson Sisters' Cottage (21341). Portrayed by Thora Birch in the 1993 Disney cult classic film, Dani is an essential protagonist whose witty bravery made her a fan favorite. LEGO rendered her in her iconic Halloween witch costume, capturing the charm and vibrant colors of the character with remarkable movie accuracy.

The minifigure boasts several highly detailed and exclusive components. Most notably, her specialized dual-molded dark orange hair and black witch hat element features intricate bright light yellow dot printing. Her red torso accurately replicates the sun emblem, ruffles, and fringe tassels from the film's costume, complemented by a short angular hipwear skirt and medium posable legs suited for a child character.

For Disney, Halloween, and LEGO Ideas collectors, Dani is a must-have to complete the mortal trio alongside her brother Max and Allison. Key condition considerations include the fragile printing on the witch hat and the fit of the hip skirt piece, which collectors should keep pristine for maximum long-term display value.

Dani Dennison appears exclusively in a single set: the direct-to-consumer LEGO Ideas set 21341, which carried a retail price of $229.99. Because the set is a higher-end collector build rather than an accessible play set, Dani was produced in significantly lower quantities than mass-market licensed minifigures.

Given that Hocus Pocus is an intellectual property rarely revisited by LEGO outside this specific fan-driven project, this minifigure is unlikely to see a re-release in other formats, keeping aftermarket supply strictly limited to copies extracted from set 21341.

Minifigures from one-off licensed LEGO Ideas sets—especially those based on evergreen seasonal cult classics—tend to hold and gain solid value post-retirement. Hocus Pocus experiences an annual surge in cultural popularity every autumn, driving seasonal aftermarket demand for the characters as standalone display pieces.

While the Sanderson Sisters often steal the spotlight, collectors looking to recreate the complete film lineup need Dani to finish the scene. As set 21341 retires and sealed sets appreciate, parted-out minifigures like Dani will command strong premiums among buyers who do not want to purchase the entire cottage.
