Ariel, Dark Red Hair

The Ariel minifigure with Dark Red Hair from the 43225 Little Mermaid Royal Clamshell set is desirable for collectors due to the character's popularity and the detailed printing on both the torso and tail elements. Ariel is an iconic Disney princess, making any minifigure version of her appealing to fans of both LEGO and Disney. The dark red hairpiece is also a unique element, adding to the figure's collectibility.

Condition is always a key factor for collectors. Minifigures in mint condition, with no scratches or wear on the printing, command higher prices. Completeness is also important; having all the original parts, including the tail and hairpiece, will maximize the figure's value.

This Ariel minifigure appeared exclusively in The Little Mermaid Royal Clamshell set (43225-1), which was retired in 2023. The single set appearance contributes to its relative rarity compared to minifigures that appear in multiple sets. While not a limited edition in the traditional sense, the finite production run of the set means that the number of these Ariel minifigures is capped. Aftermarket availability will depend on how many sets were sold and how many minifigures are separated from the sets and offered individually.
