Turkey Costume

The Turkey Costume minifigure is a standout addition to the beloved Collectible Minifigures lineup, capturing the whimsical spirit that fans have come to expect from these blind-bagged releases. What makes this figure particularly desirable for collectors is the brilliant use of specialized molded elements, specifically the impressive reddish-brown fan tail hipwear and the oversized bird mask featuring bright blue eyes and a vibrant orange beak. These unique components cannot easily be swapped out for standard parts, making the complete ensemble a must-have for completionists who chase the full animal suit roster.

Condition considerations are paramount when evaluating this specific minifigure. Because the tail piece attaches at the hips and the massive head mask puts extra leverage on the neck stem during play, collectors should carefully inspect the torso and hip connections for stress marks. Furthermore, the dual-expression yellow head offers great display versatility, allowing collectors to showcase their turkey either with a happy open-mouth grin or an amusingly angry, clinched-teeth grimace depending on how chaotic you want your Thanksgiving display to be.

As part of a retired Collectible Minifigures series released in 2022, this figure was only available for a limited production window before cycling out of retail channels. Unlike figures tied to massive recurring themes, blind-bag characters are notoriously difficult to source once their specific series exits shelves, as they were subject to the luck of the draw or aftermarket feel-testing.

Because it was confined to just one mainline series with no subsequent re-releases in traditional boxed sets, finding a complete, mint-condition specimen with all five specialized components—especially the tail fan and specific dual-expression head—becomes increasingly challenging over time.
