Popcorn Costume

Ah, the delightful Popcorn Costume minifigure is an absolute standout from the beloved Collectible Minifigures blind bag series! Collectors go wild for the whimsical costume sub-theme, and this buttery cinema snack is easily one of the most charming additions to the lineup. Featuring a custom-molded popcorn bucket torso piece with classic red-and-white stripes and bold 'POP CORN' lettering, it instantly captures the magic of movie night. Plus, you get that adorable dual-expression head print showing off a cheeky crooked smile on one side and a wide-open grin on the other, letting you display your crunchy snack with plenty of personality.

When hunting for this piece on the secondary market, condition is everything—especially regarding the printed bucket element. Since the popcorn lid piece and the bucket body take center stage, collectors should inspect closely for micro-scratches on the red stripes or slight yellowing on the white plastic. The medium legs paired with dark red hips give it that stubby, mascot-like proportion that makes the costume figures so utterly charming on display. If you are building a complete amusement park, cinema, or town layout, this is a must-have crowd-pleaser that always steals the show.

As part of a blind-bagged Collectible Minifigures series, acquiring this specific figure required either luck at the retail shelf or buying from a specialized aftermarket seller who felt the bags to guarantee the contents. It made a single, exclusive appearance in its dedicated series back in 2022 before officially retiring, meaning factory-sealed bags and complete loose figures are no longer being replenished by retail shipments.

Because it was tied to a specific blind bag series rather than a standard retail boxed set, finding one complete with all four original components—especially the specialized head and bucket mold—becomes increasingly deliberate over time.
