Sudsy Simon

Sudsy Simon is an absolute gem from the LEGO City Stuntz subtheme, bringing a heavy dose of wacky humor to any collection. What makes this figure a must-have for completionists is the incredible attention to detail packed into its components. The dual-sided head gives you both a confident open-mouth smile and a hilarious queasy face with a sweat drop, while the bare chest features a brilliant duck logo tattoo that perfectly captures the zany personality of the Stuntz stunt drivers.

Collectors should pay close attention to the lime swimming trunks and the vibrant orange life jacket, which add a fantastic splash of color. Because this figure is tied to a high-speed stunt bike set, condition is everything—make sure to inspect the printed torso for any micro-scratches from the jacket accessory, and verify that the spiked black hair is securely seated. It's a whimsical character design that stands out brilliantly in a sea of standard minifigures.

With appearances limited to just a single set—the 2022 Bathtub Stunt Bike—Sudsy Simon holds a modest yet respectable rarity profile. As the set has now been retired, pulling this exact figure requires tracking down the secondary market or buying out-of-production sets. While it isn't a ultra-limited convention exclusive, its single-set availability means it is steadily vanishing from loose bulk lots as Stuntz fans lock down their collections.

Market data suggests that while these specialized City figures are initially produced in solid quantities, their whimsical nature makes them popular for casual buyers and kids, leading to higher-than-average play wear. Finding one in pristine condition is becoming increasingly satisfying for dedicated finders of hidden gems.

Sudsy Simon earns a solid B rating for investment potential. Stuntz characters have a dedicated following among fans of quirky LEGO designs, and since the specific set is retired, demand for the minifigure individually has slowly ticked upward. It's an affordable pickup right now, but its unique parts—particularly the duck tattoo torso and the dual-face print—give it long-term appeal for custom builders and theme collectors.

While it won't rival high-end licensed Star Wars or Marvel characters in sheer financial appreciation, fun novelty figures like Sudsy Simon often surprise investors when niche themes become nostalgic favorites years down the road. It's a fun, low-risk addition to a diversified minifigure portfolio.
