Dr. Henry Wu, Old

Dr. Henry Wu (Old) is a desirable minifigure for LEGO Jurassic World collectors, particularly those focused on completing their character roster from the films. The minifigure represents Dr. Wu in his older appearance, making it distinct from his younger versions. The detailed printing on the torso, including the jacket and shirt, adds to its appeal. Collectors often seek out minifigures that represent key characters in specific stages of their on-screen journey.

The fact that this minifigure only appears in one retired set increases its collectibility. Minifigures exclusive to larger, more expensive sets often become sought-after as collectors try to acquire them without purchasing the entire set. The condition of the minifigure is important, with pristine figures commanding higher prices in the secondary market.

Dr. Henry Wu (Old) is considered moderately rare due to its exclusive appearance in a single, now-retired set: the Giganotosaurus & Therizinosaurus Attack (76949-1) released in 2022. While not a limited edition or promotional item, its availability was restricted by the set's price point and production run. As the set is no longer in production, the only way to obtain this minifigure is through the aftermarket, which inherently increases its perceived and actual rarity.
