Zebe

Zebe is a vibrant, brick-built character introduced in The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part theme. Serving as the flamboyant driver and host aboard the Systar System's Pop-Up Party Bus, Zebe stands out with an unmistakable, high-energy aesthetic composed of Medium Lavender, Coral, and Bright Light Orange elements.

Comprising 54 individual pieces, Zebe falls into the category of large-scale brick-built figures rather than a traditional minifigure, much like other fan-favorite Systar System characters such as Queen Watevra Wa'Nabi. His distinctive printed eye tiles and whimsical proportions capture the animated charm of the film, making him a visual highlight on any display shelf.

For collectors, complete preservation is key. Because Zebe consists of numerous small specialty plates, brackets, and slopes, loose figures found in bulk lots are frequently missing parts or have substitutions. Ensuring all original Coral and Lavender parts are present and free of wear is critical to maintaining collectible value.

Zebe is exclusive to a single retail set: the Pop-Up Party Bus (70828-1), released in early 2019 and retired in late 2019. Because the set had a relatively brief shelf life and a mid-tier price point ($79.99), Zebe did not flood the secondary market in massive quantities.

Brick-built figures face a higher attrition rate than standard minifigures, as they are frequently taken apart and integrated into general brick bins. Consequently, finding a 100% complete, authentic Zebe assembled with all original pieces adds a degree of scarcity on secondary marketplaces.

From an investment standpoint, brick-built characters from The LEGO Movie 2 hold niche appeal. While they generally do not match the explosive appreciation seen in licensed franchises like Star Wars or Marvel, Zebe's single-set exclusivity and quirky, colorful design provide steady baseline demand among theme completionists.

Value growth is projected to remain modest but stable. Collectors completing the full cast of Systar System musical characters will always seek out complete versions of Zebe, making him a reliable, though specialized, collectible.
