Mia - Dark Purple Top, Olive Green Skirt, Sand Blue Hat

Hey fellow brick enthusiasts! When looking at this specific version of Mia from the Friends lineup, what really catches the eye is her wonderfully detailed casual outfit. Featuring a striking dark purple top with a cute knot print, paired with an olive green skirt and topped off with a distinctive sand blue hat, this minidoll brings a lovely coastal, artsy vibe to the Heartlake City collection. For collectors focusing on the Friends theme, grabbing variations of the core five characters in unique daily attire is a fun and rewarding sub-goal.

When inspecting this figure for your collection, pay close attention to the print quality on the torso and the condition of the red hairpiece with its integrated sand blue hat pattern. Because minidolls feature slightly different proportions and materials compared to traditional minifigures, keeping the limbs secure and checking for any fading on the light nougat parts are key steps. While she might not be a high-stakes license exclusive, her vibrant color palette makes her a delightful display piece.

This particular iteration of Mia is notably tied to a single, highly specific release, making her a bit of a hidden gem for completionists. Having only appeared in the ambitious Canal Houseboat set from 2022, her distribution is somewhat limited compared to the mass-market pocket-money sets that usually flood shelves.

Because the Canal Houseboat has now sailed off into retirement, tracking down this exact variant requires turning to the aftermarket or specialized part-out shops. While not vanishingly rare, the single-set exclusivity ensures that demand remains steady among dedicated Friends theme collectors who want every unique outfit their favorite characters have worn.

From an investment standpoint, this minidoll falls comfortably into a steady, nostalgic hold category. The retirement of her sole home set, the 41702 Canal Houseboat, means the primary supply chain has dried up, which naturally pushes up the value of the set's individual components over time as owners look to part out their collections.

Market data suggests that while Friends-theme figures rarely reach the astronomical heights of licensed Star Wars or Super Heroes rarities, unique outfit variants from distinct, popular large sets tend to hold their value quite well. Expect moderate, steady growth driven primarily by completionists rather than speculative investors.
