Diver

The Minecraft Diver is a uniquely styled player skin exclusive to the 2022 set The Guardian Battle (21180-1). Featuring a striking dark orange wetsuit paired with a pixelated dark bluish gray diving helmet head with aqua and gold accents, this figure captures the blocky aquatic exploration aesthetic of modern Minecraft gameplay perfectly.

Equipped with a trans-clear neck bracket that serves as an oxygen pack harness for underwater dives, the Diver was specifically designed to take on the underwater Guardian and Elder Guardian mobs. Because LEGO Minecraft collectors love gathering diverse custom player skins alongside the classic Steve and Alex figures, unique themed skins like this are consistently in demand.

Preserving the Diver in mint condition requires keeping the unique pixelated helmet head and torso prints free of scuffs, as the crisp light aqua face printing and dark orange surfaces readily show play wear.

The Diver is exclusive to a single set, The Guardian Battle (21180-1), which was released in early 2022 and retired by the end of 2023. Because it was featured in an affordable, entry-level set, a substantial number were sold during its production run.

Despite its initial accessibility, the figure has never been reissued in another set or polybag. Now that the set is fully retired, sealed examples and mint individual minifigures are becoming more scarce on the secondary market as ocean biome displays remain a favorite among Minecraft builders.

As a single-set exclusive player skin from a retired set, the Diver holds a steady niche in the LEGO Minecraft aftermarket. Minecraft player skins generally see modest, reliable growth post-retirement because completionists seek to own every distinct skin variant LEGO releases.

While its origin in a low-cost retail set puts a natural ceiling on explosive value spikes, the figure's unique oceanic theme and complete exclusivity give it healthy long-term appeal. It represents a solid low-risk hold for Minecraft collectors and parts resellers.
