🏆 Collectibility Analysis

Collectibility Notes

The Chang'e minifigure is highly desirable due to its association with the Monkie Kid theme, which has garnered a dedicated following. The minifigure showcases intricate printing and unique molded elements, making it visually appealing. The combination of white, azure, and gold colors, along with the crescent moon emblem, adds to its distinctiveness.

Collectors appreciate the cultural significance of Chang'e, a prominent figure in Chinese mythology, and her inclusion in a LEGO set provides a unique opportunity to own a minifigure representing this legendary character. The minifigure's exclusive elements, such as the hairpiece with azure horns and the detailed torso and leg printing, further enhance its collectibility.

Rarity Analysis

The Chang'e minifigure appeared exclusively in the Chang'e Moon Cake Factory set (80032-1), released in 2022. Given that this set has been retired, the minifigure's availability is limited to the secondary market. While not a regional exclusive, the set's retirement contributes to the minifigure's increasing rarity. The number of sets containing this fig is low, making it harder to find than minifigures appearing in multiple sets.
