Astronaut, Gold Visor, Goatee Beard

The Astronaut with Gold Visor and Goatee Beard is a desirable minifigure due to its unique combination of elements. The gold visor stands out from the more common transparent visors, and the goatee beard adds a touch of character not often seen on LEGO astronauts. Collectors appreciate these details, making it a sought-after piece.

The minifigure's appearance in a limited number of sets, including one associated with a book, further enhances its collectibility. Minifigures that are not widely distributed tend to be more popular among serious collectors. The space theme's enduring appeal also contributes to the demand for this particular astronaut.

This minifigure appears in only two retired sets, one of which is a book. This limited availability contributes to its relative rarity. While not a strictly exclusive minifigure (as it appears in two different products), the low number of sets and the fact that one is a book rather than a standard set makes it less common than many other LEGO astronauts.

The production years of the sets (2020 and 2023) were relatively recent, meaning there are likely fewer of these minifigures in circulation compared to older space-themed minifigs. As the sets remain retired, the aftermarket will be the primary source for acquiring this minifigure, influencing its price and availability.
