Black Falcon Knight - Blue Torso, Pearl Dark Grey Legs, Light Bluish Grey Hair, Flat Silver Shoulderguard

The Black Falcon Knight with the blue torso and flat silver shoulder guard is an absolute must-have for classic Castle enthusiasts and modern army builders alike. Originating from the fan-favorite Ideas set, this figure bridges the nostalgia of the 1980s faction with modern LEGO printing techniques, featuring a wonderfully detailed blue and black torso with the iconic falcon emblem and a sophisticated dark bluish grey cloak print. The addition of the pearl dark grey legs and the striking flat silver shoulder guard gives this knight a uniquely formidable and elite appearance on the battlefield.

Collectors prize this specific iteration because it elevates the standard medieval soldier into a more seasoned veteran, complete with a rugged grey-bearded head print and bowl-cut hair that screams classic fantasy adventure. When inspecting your collection for condition, keep an eye on the pearl titanium legs and the flat silver shoulder guard, as these metallic and specialized finishes can occasionally show minor micro-scratching or clutch-wear if handled aggressively. Having this particular knight in pristine condition is a fantastic flex for any medieval display.

Unlike the vintage 1980s Black Falcon waves that pop up frequently in various states of wear, this modern variant is tethered exclusively to a single, highly sought-after retail set: the Medieval Blacksmith (21325-1). Because it was locked behind a relatively expensive, adult-targeted Ideas set that has since retired, supply is naturally restricted to the number of copies that owners are willing to part with. Army builders looking to amass a noble medieval host have heavily targeted this set, making standalone purchases of this specific knight increasingly competitive on the aftermarket.

Market data indicates that single-figure availability for this exact blue-torso variant is steadily tightening now that the set is out of production. As nostalgia-driven adult fans and Castle revivalists continue to buy up remaining sealed and used blacksmith sets to harvest the civilian and knight figures, finding this guard loose and in mint condition will only get trickier as time marches on.

With Castle and historical themes experiencing a massive renaissance among adult collectors, the investment grade for this Black Falcon Knight sits comfortably in the B+ territory. While it isn't a licensed superhero or a multi-thousand-dollar vintage relic, the figure benefits immensely from the stellar reputation and post-retirement price appreciation of its parent set, the Medieval Blacksmith. As that iconic set climbs in value on the secondary market, the demand for its exclusive inhabitants will naturally pull individual values upward.

Comparing this figure to generic modern castle guards reveals a stark contrast in desirability; the combination of the updated faction heraldry, specialized armor pieces, and a limited single-set release makes it a safe, stable hold. Investors should expect steady, reliable appreciation driven by army builders and completists who refuse to pay for an entire retired set just to get their hands on a single knight.
