Sandman, Swirling Dirt Lower Body with Green Sweater

The Sandman minifigure with the swirling dirt lower body and green sweater is highly desirable for collectors due to its unique design and connection to the Spider-Man universe. The swirling dirt effect on the legs is a standout feature, making it visually appealing and distinct from other Sandman minifigures. This particular version captures a specific moment in Sandman's transformation, adding to its collectibility.

The green sweater adds a touch of normalcy to the character, contrasting with his sandy powers. As a recognizable villain from Spider-Man comics, movies, and animated series, Sandman holds a special place for fans. Minifigure condition is crucial; look for figures with intact printing and no scratches on the torso or leg piece.

This Sandman minifigure appeared in only two sets, both of which have been retired. While not a limited edition or promotional item, its presence in a relatively small number of sets contributes to its rarity. The Daily Bugle set, in particular, was a large and expensive set, meaning fewer were sold compared to smaller, more affordable sets.

Aftermarket availability is good, but prices can fluctuate based on condition and demand. Keep an eye out for well-preserved figures to maximize your investment.
