Spider-Man (Miles Morales), Dark Red Hoodie, Dual Molded Legs

Hey there, fellow collectors! If you are building out your Spider-Verse display, this iteration of Miles Morales with his iconic dark red hoodie is an absolute must-have for your shelf. What really sets this figure apart is the fantastic layering effect achieved by the dark red hood piece sitting over his molded head, combined with that brilliant open hoodie torso print that reveals the sleek black and red suit underneath. LEGO really knocked it out of the park with the dual-molded legs featuring black boot printing, giving him that authentic street-smart look straight out of the comics and media.

When hunting for this piece, condition is everything—especially regarding the printed hood and the delicate lines on the torso. Because the hood rubs against the back of the torso during play, mint-condition specimens with crisp printing on both elements command more attention from serious completionists. The dual-molded legs also elevate this above cheaper versions that rely solely on simple side or front leg printing. It is a visually striking figure that anchors any modern Marvel display and captures Miles's unique personal style perfectly.

This particular version of Miles Morales has enjoyed a relatively healthy distribution across a handful of sets since its debut, appearing in a total of five releases including a major anchor set. However, market data indicates that all of these sets are now retired, which is causing supply to dry up quickly on the secondary market. While it was not technically a traditional exclusive to a single high-end product initially, the closure of its production run means we are entering a phase where finding loose, mint-condition figures will become steadily more challenging.

Because it appeared in both an affordable mech set and the massive, highly coveted Daily Bugle, a decent number of these were pumped into the wild. That initial widespread availability has kept prices somewhat grounded for now, but as fans who missed out on those older sets look to complete their collections, the pool of loose figures is shrinking. Regional magazine foil pack distributions also helped boost overall numbers, but those specific versions can sometimes suffer from minor handling wear right out of the bag.

Looking at the investment potential through market data, this figure sits comfortably in a strong collector tier thanks to the enduring popularity of the character and the retired status of his key appearance sets. Spider-Man variants—especially those featuring fan-favorites like Miles Morales—tend to hold their value well because the demand from younger builders and adult collectors alike remains consistently high. The fact that he was tied to the gigantic Daily Bugle set also gives him a bit of prestige by association, though most buyers are simply seeking him out for his standalone appeal.

However, prospective buyers and investors should keep in mind that LEGO frequently revisits popular characters. If a new version of Miles in casual wear or a similar hoodie drops in a future wave, it could put downward pressure on short-term price spikes. Furthermore, market downturns or a sudden influx of inventory from large collections being liquidated could cause temporary dips in value. There are no guarantees in the aftermarket, and liquidity depends heavily on finding the right buyer who specifically wants this exact hoodie variant over newer iterations.
