Lily Potter

Ah, the magical world of LEGO Harry Potter always brings out the best in character curation, and this rendition of Lily Potter is a standout addition for any serious collector. What makes this particular minifigure so desirable is its exclusivity; it was only released in a single, highly popular collectible minifigures blind bag series back in 2020. Collectors are naturally drawn to figures that represent pivotal characters who received limited physical LEGO adaptations, and Lily's inclusion fills a crucial gap for fans wanting to complete their display of Harry's parents.

The detailing on this figure captures her appearance wonderfully, featuring a charming blue torso print with rose motifs and dark blue skirt-and-robe leg printing that reflects her appearance in the Wizarding World. The dual-expression head—featuring a warm smile on one side and a gentle open-mouth expression on the other—gives collectors great display versatility. When hunting for this figure on the secondary market, pay close attention to the dark orange hair piece to ensure it is the correct dual-molded or specific shade, as mixing up parts from blind bag series is a common pitfall for unwary buyers.

Rarity for blind bag series minifigures follows a distinct trajectory compared to standard set-bound figures. Because Lily Potter was released exclusively in the 2020 Harry Potter Series 2 collection, she was subject to the randomized nature of foil packaging, making direct acquisition a game of chance or feel-testing back when store shelves still stocked them. Now that the series has long since retired, supply is entirely dependent on secondary market circulation from existing collectors and inventory splitters.

While she was produced in high volume during her active run, the sheer demand from completionist Harry Potter fans has steadily absorbed available stock. Finding one complete with all original accessories—though blind bag figures typically just feature their hair and sometimes a small prop, in this case her magical accessories or base plates—in pristine condition becomes progressively more difficult as the years pass and collections get locked away in permanent displays.
