Bellatrix Lestrange, Prison Robe

The Bellatrix Lestrange in Prison Robe minifigure is highly desirable for collectors, particularly fans of the Harry Potter series. Its appeal stems from the character's prominence as a key antagonist and the unique prison garb, distinguishing it from her more common dark attire. The minifigure's detailed facial expression and hairpiece accurately capture Bellatrix's manic and menacing demeanor, making it a standout addition to any Harry Potter minifigure collection.

Collectors also value minifigures that represent specific scenes or moments from the books and films, and this prison robe variant is instantly recognizable. As the Harry Potter LEGO theme continues to resonate with both children and adult collectors, minifigures of significant characters like Bellatrix Lestrange maintain strong demand.

This minifigure appeared in only one set, the Bellatrix Lestrange minifigure from the LEGO Minifigures Series 2 (71028-12), released in 2020. Being a single-appearance minifigure from a blind-bag series increases its rarity compared to minifigures found in multiple larger sets. While the Minifigure Series was widely available, the random distribution means obtaining this specific figure required luck or aftermarket purchase. Now that the set is retired, its rarity is only increasing.
