Pirate Girl (CMF)

The Pirate Girl from Collectible Minifigures (CMF) Series 20 is an exceptional tribute to LEGO's classic Pirates theme. Released in 2020 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the CMF line, she immediately captured the attention of swashbuckling enthusiasts and army builders alike with her authentic, roguish design.

Her standout feature is the unique dual-molded hair and hat element, combining medium nougat hair tied in a ponytail beneath a classic black tricorne hat. Paired with a fierce double-sided facial print featuring a chipped tooth and beauty mark, along with dark red and black striped trousers, this minifigure delivers unmatched detail for non-licensed seafaring displays.

Collectors often seek this figure complete with her signature accessories: two pearl dark gray cutlasses and a vibrant red plume. Because loose plumes and dual cutlasses are easily lost or swapped, finding one in mint, complete condition adds meaningful value to any CMF collection.

Exclusive to blind-bagged Series 20 (Set 71027-5) in 2020, the Pirate Girl had a standard production run and was distributed at a rate of 3 or 4 per sealed box of 60. She was retired along with the rest of the series within several months of launch.

While not an ultra-rare chase figure, sealed foil packs and complete mint loose copies have steadily dried up on the secondary market. Her appeal extends beyond typical CMF collectors to dedicated LEGO Classic Pirates builders, creating consistent ongoing demand.

Pirate-themed minifigures possess enduring market strength due to the nostalgia surrounding classic themes like LEGO Pirates and sets like the Pirates of Barracuda Bay (21322). The Pirate Girl serves as a natural crew member or captain for these displays, giving her a steady pool of eager buyers.

While broad supply prevents astronomical price spikes in the near term, CMF figures with unique headgear molds and detailed printing generally appreciate at a reliable, modest pace over time. She represents a dependable mid-tier hold for portfolio diversification.
