Racer, Extreme Team, Black Jacket, Black Legs, Green Cap, Blue Sunglasses

The Racer from the Extreme Team subtheme is a charming example of 1990s LEGO design. Collectors appreciate this minifigure for its unique torso print featuring the 'Extreme Team' logo, a red 'X' on the back of a black jacket, evoking a sense of adventure and sporty style. The bright green cap and blue sunglasses add a pop of color and personality, making it stand out in any minifigure collection.

While not based on a licensed property, the figure embodies the spirit of LEGO's original themes, offering nostalgia for collectors who grew up with these sets. Its relative simplicity compared to modern minifigures adds to its retro appeal. The condition of the torso print is a key factor for collectors, as wear can significantly impact its value.

This Racer minifigure appears exclusively in the Wind Runners set (6572-1) released in 1998. Given that this set is now retired, the minifigure's availability is limited to the aftermarket. While not exceedingly rare, its single set appearance contributes to its collectibility.

Its production was limited to one year, and distribution was worldwide, meaning it wasn't a regional exclusive or special edition. Finding this minifigure in excellent condition may pose a challenge, further increasing its desirability among collectors.
