Mei - Helmet

Mei is one of the breakout stars of the LEGO Monkie Kid theme, and this helmeted version from the founding 2020 wave is a standout piece for modern collectors. What makes this particular minifigure so desirable is its striking sci-fi-meets-mythology aesthetic, featuring a brilliant white bodysuit accented by vibrant green dragon prints and intricate gold trim. The crown jewel of the figure is its specialized white helmet, complete molded antennae, integrated headphones, and a sleek black visor with gold and green deco that perfectly captures her futuristic warrior vibe.

For completionists and character enthusiasts alike, this iteration represents Mei right at the launch of the theme, making it a nostalgic anchor for early adopters. Because the headpiece and helmet are heavily detailed and unique to her early appearances, collectors must carefully inspect the printed visor for scratches or wear, as the black finish is prone to minor scuffs if played with. Finding one in pristine, mint condition is becoming increasingly important as the Monkie Kid theme matures and dedicated fans look to secure the definitive versions of its main cast.

While this version of Mei appeared in a handful of sets during the launch year of 2020—including the White Dragon Horse Bike, Monkie Kid's Team Secret HQ, and The Flaming Foundry—all of those initial sets are now long retired.

As Monkie Kid has evolved with numerous subsequent waves and character redesigns, these 2020 foundation figures have transitioned from readily available play pieces to sought-after collector items.
