Man, White Jacket with Zipper, White Legs, Brown Hair

This vintage medical specialist is a quintessential representative of the early 1990s LEGO Classic Town and Rescue subthemes. Sporting the iconic white jacket with a curved zipper and pocket detailing, this minifigure served as a paramedic and doctor in both retail sets and educational releases. The classic standard grin head and traditional smooth brown hair capture the charming simplicity of LEGO's golden era of civilian sets.

For vintage Town enthusiasts and retro city builders, figures like this are essential for creating authentic period-accurate hospital and emergency rescue scenes. While the head, hair, and legs use common vintage elements, finding the white torso with crisp, unfaded zipper printing and untarnished white plastic can be challenging due to age-related yellowing.

Released in only two sets between 1992 and 1993—the standard retail Rescue set 1896 Trauma Team and the specialized DACTA educational set 9364 Hospital—this minifigure had a very limited production lifespan. Because DACTA sets had restricted educational distribution channels, the majority of circulating copies come directly from the 1896 set.

Although individual elements were reused across other Town themes with minor accessory variations, this specific combination remains relatively scarce in mint condition on the aftermarket.

As a generic vintage Town figure, this doctor commands modest collector value rather than speculative heights. However, interest in intact early-1990s Town and DACTA minifigures remains steady among nostalgia-driven adult collectors looking to complete boxed sets or period-specific dioramas.

Its investment upside is tied primarily to condition; high-grade examples without discoloration or play wear will maintain steady, incremental value appreciation as 1990s sealed inventory continues to diminish over time.
