Criminal, Big Betty

Big Betty is a fun, slightly quirky minifigure from the LEGO City theme, making her appealing to collectors who enjoy the more lighthearted side of LEGO. Her unique head print with the black eye mask and distinctive hairpiece immediately set her apart from standard minifigures. The hoodie torso with the prison shirt underneath adds to her character and backstory, making her more than just a generic criminal.

Collectors often seek out minifigures with unique designs or those that help build out specific scenes or narratives within their LEGO City layouts. Big Betty fits this bill perfectly, providing a memorable antagonist for police-themed displays. The fact that she only appears in two sets further adds to her collectibility, especially as those sets are now retired.

Big Betty's rarity is moderate. She appears in only two LEGO sets, both of which have been retired. One of these was an Advent Calendar, which tends to be produced in larger quantities, while the other was a standard retail set. While not exceptionally rare, her limited availability contributes to her desirability on the aftermarket. She isn't a regional exclusive or special edition, but her limited production window adds to her appeal for collectors seeking complete LEGO City collections.
