#fig-007675
This Archer minifigure from the Knights' Kingdom I theme is a desirable piece for LEGO castle enthusiasts. Its unique combination of parts, including the dark gray helmet with a chinstrap and the distinctive torso print featuring scale mail and a red diamond amulet, make it stand out from other castle-themed minifigures.
The 'Leather on Legs' print is also a defining characteristic. Condition is important, as with all older minifigures, with collectors seeking figures with minimal wear to the printing and no cracks in the torso.
The Archer only appeared in two sets, both released in 2000, making it a moderately rare minifigure. The sets themselves, King Leo's Castle (6091-1) and King Leo's Castle (6098-1), were relatively large sets for their time, which might have led to a reasonable number of these archers being produced. However, given the age of the minifigure and the attrition rate over the years, finding one in excellent condition can be challenging.
While not the rarest or most expensive minifigure, the Knights' Kingdom I Archer has potential as a long-term investment. The nostalgia factor associated with classic LEGO castle themes drives demand, and well-preserved examples of this minifigure are likely to appreciate in value over time. The retirement of both sets containing this minifigure also contributes to its collectibility.
