Allan Houston, New York Knicks #20

The Allan Houston minifigure is a must-have for LEGO NBA collectors and fans of the New York Knicks. It represents a specific player from a popular sports franchise, adding a layer of appeal beyond just being a generic athlete. The detailed jersey printing with Houston's name and number makes it instantly recognizable.

Condition is key with these older sports minifigures. Collectors will look for figures with minimal wear to the printing on the torso and head. Any fading or scratches will detract from the value. Completeness, including the correct head and torso, is also important.

This minifigure is relatively rare due to its limited release in only one set, the NBA Collectors #8 from 2003. Being part of a licensed theme that was produced for a limited time further contributes to its scarcity. While not impossible to find on the aftermarket, it's less common than minifigures from more widely available LEGO themes.
