Sewer Baby

The Sewer Baby is a standout minifigure due to its unique and somewhat unsettling design, making it a must-have for collectors of The LEGO Movie 2 theme and those who appreciate quirky, unconventional minifigures. Its distinctive reddish-brown baby body, complete with printed straps and harness, combined with the angry-smile-with-missing-tooth head, creates a memorable character.

As a character from a major LEGO movie, the Sewer Baby benefits from the film's popularity and broad appeal. Minifigures from licensed themes or movies often see higher demand, especially when they are as visually unique as this one. The condition of the printing on the torso and the head is crucial for collectors, as wear can significantly impact the minifigure's value.

The Sewer Baby appears exclusively in The LEGO Movie 2 Accessory Set (853865-1), which was retired in 2019. This single-set appearance contributes to its relative scarcity on the aftermarket. While not a limited edition in the traditional sense, its availability was tied to a specific accessory pack, making it less common than minifigures found in multiple larger sets.

Its rarity is further influenced by the fact that accessory packs are often disassembled or parted out, reducing the number of complete Sewer Baby minifigures available for collectors. While not exceedingly rare, its single set appearance ensures it's not a minifigure you'll easily stumble upon.
