Mars Astronaut, Sunglasses

The Mars Astronaut with Sunglasses is a desirable minifigure for LEGO Space collectors, particularly those focused on the Mars Mission theme. The combination of a classic space suit with a unique sunglass-wearing head print gives this figure a distinct personality and visual appeal. The orange and silver torso printing on the white suit captures the essence of early 2000s LEGO space designs.

The minifigure's appeal is further enhanced by the relatively short production run of the Mars Mission theme. Collectors often seek out figures in excellent condition, with minimal wear on the torso printing and a clean helmet. The sunglasses head print is especially prone to scratches, making pristine examples more valuable.

This minifigure appears in three sets from the Mars Mission theme, all released in 2007 and 2008. While not an extremely rare figure, its limited availability within a relatively small number of sets contributes to its collectibility. Because the sets are retired, the only way to acquire this minifigure is through the secondary market, which can affect pricing depending on condition and demand.
