Martian, Cassiopeia

Cassiopeia the Martian is a unique minifigure from the LEGO Life on Mars theme, instantly recognizable by her vibrant purple skin and dark turquoise mechanical arms. Collectors seek her out due to her distinctive appearance and the nostalgia associated with the early 2000s space theme. The combination of organic and mechanical elements makes her a standout piece.

The use of specialized parts, like the head with the clip and eyelashes print, adds to her desirability. As a named character, she holds more appeal than a generic Martian minifigure. The condition of the eyelashes print is crucial for serious collectors, as wear and tear can significantly impact value.

Cassiopeia is considered moderately rare. She only appears in two sets, both released in 2001, making her a product of a limited production window. The sets she appears in are now retired, further restricting the supply of this minifigure on the aftermarket. While not a regional exclusive, the overall availability of the Life on Mars theme was lower compared to more mainstream themes, contributing to her relative scarcity.
