Knight (Dragon Knights) - Black Legs, Neck-Protector

The Knight from the Dragon Knights subtheme is a highly sought-after minifigure for LEGO Castle enthusiasts. Released in 1996, this knight represents a classic era of LEGO design, appealing to nostalgia and the enduring popularity of medieval themes. The detailed torso print, featuring a dragon standing, along with the dark gray helmet with a neck protector, adds to its visual appeal and collectibility.

Condition is a key factor for collectors. Minifigures in excellent condition, with minimal wear to the torso print and no cracks in the helmet, command higher prices. The rarity of the set it appeared in, the Dark Forest Fortress, further enhances its desirability.

This Knight minifigure appeared exclusively in the Dark Forest Fortress set (6079-1) released in 1996. Given the age of the set and the fact that it was only available for a limited time, the minifigure is considered relatively rare. Finding it in good condition can be challenging, which contributes to its value in the aftermarket. It was not a regional exclusive or special edition, but the single set appearance makes it less common than figures appearing in multiple sets.
