🏆 Collectibility Analysis

Collectibility Notes

The Penny minifigure is desirable for collectors of the LEGO Ideas series, particularly fans of 'The Big Bang Theory.' As one of the core characters from the show, Penny is essential for completing the set and recreating iconic scenes. Her unique jacket torso print and dual-sided head contribute to her distinct appearance.

Condition is key for collectors. A Penny minifigure in pristine condition, with no scratches or fading on the printed elements, will command a higher price. Completeness, including the hairpiece, is also important. As the set is now retired, finding a Penny minifigure in excellent condition becomes increasingly challenging, further enhancing its collectibility.

Rarity Analysis

The Penny minifigure is moderately rare, appearing exclusively in 'The Big Bang Theory' LEGO Ideas set (21302-1). This set was available from 2015 until its retirement, limiting the overall production run of this minifigure. While not a regional exclusive, the set's retirement means that new Penny minifigures are no longer being produced, making her increasingly scarce on the aftermarket. Availability fluctuates depending on parted-out sets and individual sellers.
