Paul

Paul, from the Hidden Side theme, is a desirable minifigure for collectors interested in the augmented reality play experience LEGO offered. The minifigure's unique torso print featuring a plaid shirt and a peeled banana graphic adds a quirky and memorable detail that stands out in a collection. His tousled hair and blue-tinted glasses give him a distinct personality, making him more appealing than a generic townsperson.

Furthermore, collectors of the Hidden Side theme will naturally seek out all the characters, including Paul, to complete their sets and storylines. The condition of the minifigure, particularly the torso print and hairpiece, significantly impacts its collectibility, as pristine examples are more highly valued.

Paul appears in only one set: the Ghost Train Express (70424-1). Since the Hidden Side theme has been retired, no new sets featuring Paul will be produced. This limited availability contributes to his relative scarcity on the aftermarket. While not a limited edition or promotional minifigure, his single set appearance elevates his rarity above that of figures appearing in multiple sets. He is not a regional exclusive, which makes him easier to find globally.
