Remus Lupin, Dark Bluish Gray Jacket over Olive Green Vest

Professor Remus Lupin is one of the most beloved characters from the Wizarding World, making any minifigure depiction of him highly desirable among Harry Potter collectors. Introduced with the modern relaunch of the LEGO Harry Potter theme in 2018, this version faithfully captures his disheveled, professorial look from Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban as he travels aboard the Hogwarts Express.

The minifigure features a detailed dark bluish gray jacket over an olive green vest, complete with subtle pocket and tie printing reflecting his threadbare wardrobe. What makes this figure particularly special to collectors is the double-sided head print: one side features his calm, scarred expression with stubble, while the reverse reveals glowing yellow eyes—a fantastic nod to his lycanthropic curse.

Given that Lupin has surprisingly few modern minifigure variations compared to other key Order of the Phoenix members, this specific outfit remains the quintessential classroom/travel representation of the iconic Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher.

This variant of Remus Lupin was primarily distributed in the popular Hogwarts Express (Set 75955-1), released in 2018. While that set enjoyed a lengthy shelf life before retiring at the end of 2022, this exact minifigure configuration has not been reissued in newer iterations of the train or subsequent mainline wave sets.

Because the set was widely purchased, loose examples are readily available on the secondary market, though finding pristine copies without torso play-wear or scratching on the dual-printed head has become increasingly competitive post-retirement.

Remus Lupin benefits from steady, perpetual demand driven by fans of the Marauders and the core Harry Potter storyline. Following the retirement of set 75955, prices for this minifigure have experienced modest but steady appreciation.

While the large production volume of the 2018 Hogwarts Express keeps it from reaching astronomical values in the immediate short term, its status as the definitive standard Professor Lupin outfit makes it a dependable 'hold' with solid collector appeal.
