Ron Weasley, Red Tartan Sweater Vest, Black Legs

Ah, the classic era of LEGO Harry Potter! This particular iteration of Ron Weasley captures the cozy aesthetic of the early 2010s sets, featuring a brilliantly detailed red tartan sweater vest over a collared shirt. Collectors prize figures from this era for their charming simplicity before the heavy reliance on complex molding took over. The dual-sided head—offering both a cheerful smile and a terrified expression—adds great display versatility and captures Ron's quintessential expressive nature perfectly.

When hunting for this specific Ron Weasley variant, condition is everything for serious collectors. The light nougat hands and head are prone to scratching, and the dark orange tousled hair piece must be inspected for clutch power and bite marks. Because this figure comes bundled with a iconic mid-era Hogwarts vehicle, finding one in pristine, unplayed-with condition with the torso print completely unrubbed is becoming increasingly satisfying for dedicated Potter brick enthusiasts.

This variant sits comfortably in the moderately rare tier for LEGO Harry Potter collectors. Having only appeared in a single, major retail set back in 2010—the iconic Hogwarts Express—its distribution was naturally limited compared to figures plastered across multiple waves. Now that the set has been retired for well over a decade, loose figures must be scavenged from the secondary aftermarket, where they are steadily absorbed into private collections.

Because it was tied to a large, highly sought-after train set that many adult fans of today grew up with, complete figures with all their original parts intact are less common than generic background characters.
