Barry Sembene (Sembène)

Barry Sembene is a minifigure that appeals to collectors interested in the Jurassic World theme, particularly those who appreciate the supporting characters. While not a main character like Owen Grady or Claire Dearing, Sembene plays a crucial role in the film's narrative, making him a desirable addition to a complete Jurassic World collection. The minifigure's unique head print, featuring a detailed beard and distinctive facial features, adds to its appeal.

Condition is always a factor for minifigure collectors. Mint condition figures with no scratches or wear on the printing command a premium. Completeness, including any accessories that originally came with the minifigure (though Sembene does not have any), is also important to serious collectors.

Barry Sembene is relatively uncommon, as he only appears in one set: the Raptor Escape set (75920-1), which was retired. This single appearance inherently makes him less common than characters who appear in multiple sets. While not a limited edition or regional exclusive, the fact that the set is retired contributes to his increasing rarity on the aftermarket.
