Bofur the Dwarf

Bofur the Dwarf is a highly desirable minifigure for collectors of LEGO's The Hobbit theme. As one of the thirteen dwarves who accompany Bilbo Baggins on his quest, Bofur has a memorable personality and distinctive appearance, making him a favorite among fans. The detailed printing on his torso, representing his coat and belt, along with his unique hair and hat piece, contribute to his appeal.

His expressive face, featuring both a calm and battle-ready expression, adds to the minifigure's collectibility. The inclusion of a separate neckwear cape also enhances his overall look. As the sets from The Hobbit theme have been retired for several years, securing a Bofur minifigure in excellent condition is a key goal for serious collectors.

Bofur is available in only one set, 'An Unexpected Gathering' (79003-1), which was released in 2012. This limited availability makes him relatively scarce on the aftermarket compared to minifigures that appear in multiple sets. While not a regional exclusive or special edition, the single set appearance contributes to his desirability among collectors. Finding him in good condition can be challenging as the set is now retired.
