Gunner Zombie

The Gunner Zombie is an eerie and iconic member of Blackbeard's supernatural crew aboard the Queen Anne's Revenge, featured in the 2011 LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides wave. Minifigures representing the undead crew members are fan favorites due to their distinct aesthetic, detailed prints, and unique zombie head sculpts featuring a metallic silver blind eye and printed eyepatch.

With a bare-chested Reddish Brown torso print displaying detailed leather harnesses, weapon bandoliers, and stitched zombie flesh, this minifigure captures the grimy, undead pirate vibe perfectly. Because it features standard Reddish Brown elements from the early 2010s, collectors should inspect torso and arm integrity carefully, as parts from this era can occasionally be prone to brittleness over time.

While the Gunner Zombie appeared in five different retail products in 2011—ranging from the flagship 4195 Queen Anne's Revenge down to accessory and battle packs—its production was strictly limited to that single release year. The Pirates of the Caribbean license was discontinued shortly after, locking supply permanently into the 2011 production run. The inclusion in accessory and magnet sets helped boost availability among army-builders, but complete, pristine figures remain moderately scarce on the secondary market today.

The LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean theme continues to command strong nostalgia-driven demand and steady aftermarket price appreciation. Zombie crew members hold enduring value because collectors building out Blackbeard's ship or custom pirate MOCs frequently seek multiples for army-building purposes. While the widespread distribution across multiple 2011 sets prevents this figure from reaching ultra-exclusive price peaks, its retired status and the sustained appeal of the POTC franchise make it a solid, reliable mid-tier investment.
