Sandman with Short Legs

The Sandman with Short Legs minifigure is a sought-after piece due to its unique design and limited availability. The short legs give this minifigure a distinctive, almost comical appearance, setting it apart from standard minifigures. Collectors appreciate the figure's exclusive torso print and the specific combination of parts that make it unique to the Mighty Micros set.

Character popularity also contributes to its appeal. Sandman, as a classic Spider-Man villain, has a dedicated fanbase, and collectors often seek out variations of this character for their collections. The condition of the minifigure, especially the torso print and hairpiece, is crucial for maintaining its value and appeal among collectors.

This Sandman minifigure is considered relatively rare due to its exclusive appearance in only one set, the Mighty Micros: Scarlet Spider vs. Sandman (76089-1) released in 2018. As the set is now retired, the availability of this minifigure is limited to the aftermarket. While not a limited edition or regional exclusive, its single set appearance makes it less common than minifigures appearing in multiple sets. Finding this minifigure in good condition may require patience and careful searching on secondary markets.
