Soldier (Imperial Soldier II) - Brown Beard, Red Plume

The Imperial Soldier II with Brown Beard and Red Plume is a desirable minifigure for LEGO collectors, particularly those interested in the classic LEGO Pirates theme. Its detailed torso printing, featuring the iconic Imperial Soldier uniform and knapsack, makes it instantly recognizable. The red plume adds a touch of distinction, and the brown beard provides character. The figure's connection to the popular Soldiers' Fort set further enhances its appeal.

For collectors focused on completeness within the Pirates line, this minifigure is essential. Condition is a factor for these older figures, with pristine examples commanding a premium. The presence of all accessories, particularly the plume and epaulette, significantly impacts value.

This particular Imperial Soldier variant appears in only one set, the Soldiers' Fort (6242-1) released in 2009. This limited availability contributes to its relative scarcity on the aftermarket. While not exceedingly rare, it's less common than other Imperial Soldiers that appear in multiple sets.

As the Soldiers' Fort set has been retired for many years, the supply of this minifigure is finite. Its age also means that many examples may exhibit wear and tear, making mint condition figures more sought after.
