Soldier (Imperial Soldier II) - Black Beard, Blue Epaulette, Red Plume

The Imperial Soldier II minifigure, with its distinctive black beard, blue epaulette, and red plume, is a sought-after piece for LEGO Pirates enthusiasts. This minifigure evokes a sense of classic pirate lore and naval battles, making it appealing to collectors who appreciate historical themes and detailed character designs. The combination of the classic pirate tricorn hat and the soldier's uniform creates a unique and memorable aesthetic.

Condition is a significant factor for collectors. Minifigures in excellent condition, with minimal wear on the torso printing and accessories, command higher prices. The presence of all original accessories, such as the plume and epaulette, also enhances its value. The Imperial Soldiers are a key faction in the LEGO Pirates theme, making them desirable for completing collections and recreating classic scenes.

This particular Imperial Soldier II minifigure appeared in only two sets, both released in 2009. While not a limited edition or regional exclusive, its relatively short production run and the retirement of the sets contribute to its increasing rarity. Finding this minifigure on the aftermarket requires patience and careful searching, especially for those seeking versions in pristine condition. The limited number of sets in which it appeared makes it less common than some other Imperial Soldier variants.
