Pirate - Red Stripes, Red Legs, Red Bandana

The Pirate with Red Stripes, Red Legs, and Red Bandana is a desirable minifigure for LEGO Pirates enthusiasts, particularly those who appreciate unique variations within the theme. Its distinctive red color scheme and the classic pirate design make it stand out in a collection. The inclusion of a head with a scar also adds character.

Collectors are drawn to minifigures that offer a fresh take on established themes, and this pirate certainly fits the bill. The minifigure's condition is a key factor for serious collectors; those seeking to add it to their collections will look for versions with pristine printing and minimal wear.

This minifigure appeared exclusively in the Pirates Chess Set (40158-1), released in 2015. While not a limited edition per se, the chess set format means fewer individual minifigures were produced compared to standard LEGO sets. The set is now retired, which further contributes to the minifigure's relative scarcity on the aftermarket. It's not an exceedingly rare minifigure, but its availability is limited to a single, now-retired set.
