Power Man

The LEGO Power Man minifigure (fig-005044 / sh103) is a must-have for Marvel collectors, representing Luke Cage as he appeared in Disney XD's Ultimate Spider-Man animated television series. Released in 2014 as part of the Spider-Helicopter Rescue (76016) set, this remains the only official retail version of Luke Cage in his modern animated Power Man costume.

What makes this minifigure stand out is its vibrant Bright Light Orange torso featuring his signature stylized jacket design, paired with a custom printed Reddish Brown head depicting his iconic silver sunglasses and confident smirk. Completing the full S.H.I.E.L.D. teenage trainee team alongside Iron Fist, White Tiger, and Nova makes tracking down this figure essential for Marvel animation enthusiasts.

When acquiring Power Man on the secondary market, pay close attention to the torso and head prints. Because this figure only appeared in a single playset, loose figures are frequently found with play wear or scuffs on the sunglasses print and torso graphics.

Power Man is moderately rare due to his single appearance in set 76016 (Spider-Helicopter Rescue), which was released in 2014 and retired by late 2015. LEGO has never re-released this variant or produced an updated retail comic or MCU version of Luke Cage, making this the primary source for the character in LEGO form.

Because the set was geared heavily toward younger builders who actively played with the figures, finding Power Man in pristine, collector-grade condition on the secondary market is becoming increasingly challenging as time passes.

Power Man holds a solid B+ investment profile due to the combination of character recognition and single-set exclusivity. Luke Cage is an iconic member of the Avengers, Defenders, and Heroes for Hire, creating enduring demand from diverse segments of Marvel collectors.

With no mass-market re-releases on the horizon and 76016 long retired, mint-condition copies of this minifigure should continue to see steady appreciation, particularly as collectors seek to complete their Marvel superhero lineups.
