Aunt May in Dark Tan Outfit

The Aunt May minifigure is desirable for collectors due to her limited availability and her role as a key supporting character in the Spider-Man universe. This version, with her distinct dark tan outfit and white scarf, is unique to a single set, making her a relatively rare find. Completing a Spider-Man minifigure collection often requires acquiring this specific Aunt May.

Condition is a significant factor for this minifigure. As she only appeared in a 2004 set, finding her in excellent condition can be challenging. Collectors should look for figures with intact printing on the torso and head, and minimal wear on the hairpiece and legs.

This Aunt May minifigure's rarity stems from her exclusive appearance in only one set, Doc Ock's Bank Robbery (4854-1), which was released in 2004. The set has been retired for many years, limiting the supply of this minifigure on the aftermarket. While not a limited edition or promotional item, her single set appearance makes her less common than many other Spider-Man related minifigures. Expect to pay a premium compared to more widely available figures from the same era.
